The Twin County area of Carroll and Grayson Counties includes the

The manufacturing center of Galax
is also home of the largest and oldest "fiddlers" convention
for old-time music and Hillsville
hosts an annual flea market with more than 2,000 vendors.
Carroll
County is a rich agricultural area noted for fruit and vegetable
production. Grayson
County is better known for rugged, unspoiled hills and valleys
and is home to the highest peak in Virginia.
